Definitely not the case. But I get it. Wood is a fancy substance and people want to pretend they’ve got it. Same with fake aluminum and carbon fibre. It’s stupid, but I sort of get it.
Who wants to pretend part of their body is made of wood, which doesn’t respond well to weather and eventually rots? Especially when that means covering it with plastic, which doesn’t respond well to weather and age?
